If only they had better openers...
Gwar was amazing! They sounded awesome and it was immediately clear that they had been playing together for a very long time. They were tight and everyone came through really clearly. As anyone who knows Gwar knows though, the absolute best part of their show though is the theatrics. I mean come on, what's better than killing Lady Gaga, disemboweling Sarah Palin, slaying a T-Rex, and soaking the audience in a delicious combo of blood and piss? I can't think of anything, personally. The only downer was that their opening acts weren't the best. Not that it mattered once Gwar got on stage, but still, it's worth noting. Bottom line: GO SEE GWAR!
